Going on holiday outside the ROI

Air Products can arrange oxygen supplies in parts of Europe where it operates, this service is called the ‘private holiday service’ and it is one for which you will need to pay.

For the rest of the world and those parts of Europe where Air Products does not operate we can usually supply contact details for companies who may be able to supply you with your oxygen requirements whilst you are on holiday. Please contact us on: holiox@airproducts.com for details.

In some parts of Europe, some or all of the cost may be covered if you have a European Health Insurance Card (EHIC).

NOTE: Please note that Air Products does not provide oxygen equipment to be taken out of the Republic of Ireland.

These are the steps to follow if you wish to visit a part of Europe where Air Products operates and take advantage of the ‘private holiday service’:

Step 1
Obtain permission for your oxygen equipment to be delivered and stored at your holiday accommodation.

Step 2
Call us on LoCall 1850 240202 (ROI only) for more information about going on holiday outside the ROI. You will need to provide:

  • The full holiday address
  • The dates of your holiday (from – to)
  • A contact name and telephone number at the holiday address, not your home telephone number
  • The booking name and reference of the holiday where appropriate

Step 3
Payment for your holiday oxygen should be made in Euros before you leave. We accept major credit cards and personal cheques via our Dublin office. Air Products will make all the arrangements for your holiday with the local supplier so there’s no need to worry about language problems and payments in another currency.

Step 4
Your holiday equipment will be ready for you when you arrive at your destination. It will also be collected when you leave.

Step 5
Enjoy your holiday!

CRUISES:
Oxygen for cruise holidays from the UK and Ireland is not available under the home oxygen service. Therefore, you will be required to make your own cruise holiday arrangements by contacting an organisation such as Omega Advanced Aeromedical on www.omegaoxygen.com.

FLYING:
If you are planning to fly as part of your holiday, you should contact the airline to obtain their written policy on handling oxygen, the charges involved and what paperwork, if any, is required for your flight.

NOTE: Please note that Air Products does not provide oxygen equipment to be taken out of the Republic of Ireland.

TRAVELLING BY COACH OR RAIL:
Please contact the company concerned and let them know in advance that you will be travelling with oxygen.
