Standard response time:
Installation of oxygen equipment is generally completed within two working days following receipt of an approved order.

When used correctly, oxygen is safe. However, patients should be made aware of the basic safety information and advice on

This safety information is also reiterated at the time of installation by the Air Products technician.
Prescribing oxygen:
In the first instance, it is important to distinguish if the patient has a valid medical card as this will determine the prescribing process.
