About Robert
An experienced welding engineer with extensive technical know-how and specialist knowledge of welding and oxy-fuel cutting applications, Robert advises metal fabrication customers throughout northern Moravia, central Moravia and the whole of Slovakia.
In addition to providing specialist advice,cutting, Robert regularly demonstrates gas products and equipment, so customers can see it working in situ. Where necessary, he provides onsite training too, to brief customers on everything from selecting the right shielding gas, to understanding welding parameters and optimising welding systems. He also carries out onsite testing where necessary and advises customers on all aspects of safety.
Robert provides industrial customers with detailed technical product sheets and offers specialist training in areas including welding and metal cutting safety regulations (ČSN 050601, 050610, 050630) and the identification and determination of steel quality and other metals, according to European classifications (ČSN EN 10027-1 and ČSN EN 10027-2).
His experience
Prior to joining Air Products, he spent nine years working in a military repair factory, where he gained hands on knowledge of welding processes.
Since then, he has gained a raft of welding qualifications and certificates, including the International Welding Inspector diploma IWI-C/CZ07011, the International Welding Technologist diploma IWT / CZ06011 and the Rationalisation and Standardisation of Work Certificate n° 1004. He has also completed training in relevant safety regulations.

In his free time, Robert enjoys free climbing, mountain biking, snowboarding, kickboxing, mountain trekking, paintball and tennis.
