About Paul
Paul is an applications specialist at Air Products. His work takes him from Land’s End to Dover and into Wales visiting customers and advising them on the Air Products’ product range. He enjoys offering practical solutions to meet their welding needs. As a fully-qualified engineer, Paul is able to advise agents about the complete range of welding gases and equipment. Safety is at the fore front of Air Products’ philosophy and Paul offers advice in accordance with the current legislation.
His experience
Since joining the metal fabrications industry Paul has worked in variety of roles from engineering to sales and has gained a wealth of experience about a variety of welding applications. Paul has also attended a number of major exhibitions with Air Products, including taking part in the industry’s largest event in Essen, Germany, where he helped to launch the innovative Maxx® gases range.
Paul is also a qualified inspector of oxyacetylene welding and cutting processes and their associated control systems. This involves carrying out onsite inspections of the gases and to test the equipment for functionality to ensure they meet stringent health and safety standards.
On a personal note…
Paul lives in his home town of Southampton, where he looks after his four Border Collies. When he isn’t out with the dogs, his second passion in life is customising cars.
