News ReleaseAir Products Appoints New Head of UKI Industrial Gas Business

Suzanne Lowe has been Appointed the New Head of Air Products UK & Ireland Industrial Gas Business

05/02/2020 Hersham, UK

Air Products (NYSE: APD), a world leading industrial gas company, has announced the appointment of Suzanne Lowe as Vice President and General Manager of its UK and Ireland (UKI) sub-region.

Lowe will head up the company’s UKI business and will take the lead on continuing its success, focusing on growing the UKI business sustainably.

Lowe said: “I’m delighted to be back at Air Products, working for the company where I’ve spent so much of my career. We’re performing strongly and will continue to do so – but are also acutely aware of the issues facing the sectors we work in today.  From sustainability to the skills shortage, Air Products will continue to lead through the key challenges the industry must tackle.”

Lowe originally joined Air Products as a new graduate, starting in the company’s training programme after leaving Liverpool University with a degree in physics in 1987.

While working with Air Products’ Homecare Division as Global Operations Director in 2010, she moved away from the company with the business when it was divested in 2012.  After several years working within the healthcare industry, Lowe now returns to Air Products to continue working in the industrial gases segment.

Over her career, Lowe has held leadership roles across a range of industry sectors, in addition to gaining experience working across Europe and in the Middle East.
